Check your claim

The live check runs on your own case. You describe what happened in your own words, or upload whatever papers you have — photos, scans, PDFs — and the case is built from that: the papers drawn, read back, and judged against 61 cited rules. Then the whole journey opens on it: how four government records see you, what would happen if you filed today, the one thing to do first, the packet of filled forms, the EPFO filing sequence for your claim form, and what the status messages mean once it is in.

You choose your language on the first step, and the whole thing — the questions and every screen after — arrives in it.

Start the check

Takes about a minute. No login, nothing to sign up for, and nothing you type is stored.

Or read 8 worked examples

These need no model and no network: each is rendered at build time by the same engine, so they open in one request and keep working with the network off.

Each one exists to make a different failure visible. Their stories are the fixtures' own, printed from the same file the engine reads.

PersonWhat Kosh finds
Ramesh Kumar Sundaram, 47One employer, 19 years. Name differs from Aadhaar by one letter, exit date never filed, rejected once already. Everything is fixable and none of it is his fault.open
Sunita Devi Yadav, 34Married, changed her name. The bank holds initials, EPFO holds the maiden name, the spouse was never recorded. The identity-fracture case the Mirror was built for.open
Arjun Menon, 27Four jobs in six years. Three UANs, two never transferred, one dormant. Pension service fragmented across employers, so he reads as under ten years when he is over it.open
Fatima Sheikh, 52PF sat in a company trust, Annexure K never arrived, and she is over ten years so a lump sum is barred. She needs a Scheme Certificate she has never heard of.open
Daniel Rozario, 29Wants his money now. Still in the job, filed Form 19 instead of 31, and has no pension account at all. EVERY blocker he has is inadmissibility. No document helps him. He is the persona that proves Kosh serves the people it must refuse.open
Lakshmi Bai, 58 (widow)Her husband died without filing a nomination. The adult son is excluded by scheme rules, the minor daughter needs a guardian declaration, and the insurance benefit was never claimed. The hardest journey in the product.open
Vikram Singh Rathore, 41His employer vanished. Establishment closed, contributions unremitted for five months, the digital signature expired before the company shut. Nothing routes through the employer, so every fix must go through the field office.open
Meera Krishnan, 36Returned from an overseas posting. The non-contributory period was never reported, her wage above the ceiling is unexplained, PAN is unseeded, and her bank merged so the IFSC is dead.open

Every one of these people is synthetic and every identifier is deliberately invalid: the Aadhaar-like numbers fail their checksum, the PAN carries an impossible entity code, and the IFSC uses a bank code that was never allotted.

Still specified rather than built

Two entries left this list on 2026-08-20 because they became false: the packet's hash and QR code, and the statutory clock. They are named here rather than quietly deleted. The full disclosure page has the rest.
